Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Owen. I am a software developer working as a Network and Security Engineer. I have a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's of Science in Computer Science with concentrations in Cyber Security and Data Science.
My interests include Home Automation, Robotics and Vision, and Network Security. I've done many different full-stack development projects allowing me to learn many different languages and different parts of infrastructure. These parts include database administration, container orchestration, application security, etc.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing with my two dogs and cat. Feel free to look around!

Twitter Trends Aggregator

Developed a full stack application that aggregates data from Twitter. Over 3 weeks, 50 gigabytes of data of the top ten trends from each state and the US as a whole including the 100 top tweets using that trending keyword are stored in a Postgres DB. Networked IR Repeater - August Allo

Used a PIC microcontroller that we assembled to interface with a 2 color display and a ping sonar sensor to read a distance accurately up to 223 centimeters. The PIC microcontroller was programmed using Microchip's, MPLAB Code Configurator to write the low level assembly code.

Utilizing a single antenna, a protoboard and various caps and resistors, my team and I constructed a Theremin. A Theremin is a musical instrument that plays a frequency controlled by the distance from your hand to the antenna.
